BAY RIDGE SECURITY is approved by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS)
as a security guard training school and is authorized to offer all basic
and continuing education courses required by law of

instruction are currently offered:
8-hour Pre-Assignment Training EVERY MONDAY at
Starting January 1: Reduced Tuition $25.00 (Sorry, no checks or credit cards).

Extension 104.
This introductory course is a pre-requisite to
state registration as a security guard. The subjects covered include: Functions
of a Security Guard, Laws of Arrest, Public Relations, Professional Ethics, and
more. A written final examination is required by law.
16-hour "On the Job" Training
Offered periodically based on

8-hour Annual In-Service Training
Offered periodically based on
enrollment. Call to sign up for next session.

This refresher course must be taken every year by state registered guards and completion is required for the renewal of guard registrations.
Firearms Training Coming

We are authorized to offer both the 47 hour and 8
hour annual firearms training courses.
